Egg Tower Challenge

The students worked together in teams of four to build a tower out of newspaper and masking tape.  The tower had to be exactly 18 inches tall and it had to be able to hold an egg for one minute!  The design was up to the team and all five teams created towers that met the criteria!  Here are the teams and their egg towers!

First Day of School Teambuilding Activity

The students worked in teams of four to solve a puzzle.  They had to cooperate, communicate and collaborate to create the puzzle consisting of 100 pieces.  Each team used strategies that helped them work together!
