Ariana's ducks by Ashlyn
Today Ariana's ducks came into 4R to visit. The whole class got a turn to feed them and they are staying the whole day ! Ariana is looking for names for all of her ducks.

Today Sammy Sand's dad named Jeff came to visit our class to talk about what to do in fires. He is a professional firefighter who works in Hudson and at the airport. We learned a lot!

Field Day fun!
The rain did not stop the fourth graders from having lots of fun at the Fall Field Day this week. Our class showed teamwork, cooperation and encouragement to each other during the many challenging stations. Here are some pictures from our Field Day!
Happy Birthday Ariana K.
Today we celebrated Ariana K's birthday in the classroom. She turned 10! Yay! Everyone received a flower and a snack. Ariana's mom came in and surprised her with her baby sister Julia and flowers and a snack. In this picture you see Ariana with her baby sister Julia.

OPENING DAY By Ryan M.
Today, the 4R mayor (Mrs Reagan), officially opened the Classroom City Bank. Now, the hardworking students (including me) can get paid for their work! 4R can now make deposits and withdrawals to spend at the classroom store (coming soon) to get things and privileges, like a day in the teacher's chair, pencils,and even an extra class recess! The bank will be open every Friday. The store opens on the last day of each month. Now the students can learn how to keep a check register and how to manage their money! Hooray!!!, :-))

Egg Tower Challenge
The students worked together in teams of four to build a tower out of newspaper and masking tape. The tower had to be exactly 18 inches tall and it had to be able to hold an egg for one minute! The design was up to the team and all five teams created towers that met the criteria! Here are the teams and their egg towers!
